Setup - Make two rows of five cards each. See picture below.
Point of the Game - The object is to be the first player to flip over all your cards in from ace (1) to 10.
Game Play - The player to the left of the dealer goes first. He/she draws a card from the draw pile. Each player has ten card spots (like the picture above). The spots are numbered 1 (ace) to 10, starting from the left. When a numbered card is drawn, the card is placed in that spot. Example - draw a five - flip the five spot card and flip that corresponding card if you can. When the player can't make a move, discard that card to a discard pile. Now it is the next players turn to flip a card from the draw pile and play. Winning - the first player to flip all ten of their cards wins! |
Please note:
The kings are wildcards and can be put in any spot. The jacks and queens are garbage and are discarded when picked up. Aces are used for the 1 spot. Winning - Once a player has flipped up all his/her cards, he/she wins. |
Sock Creations
This week's library fun comes in the form of sock creatures. Have any mismatched socks that you have no more use for, well here is a way to give those socks new life. Try one of the following sock creations: monster, octopus, bunny, or bear.
Drawing, Drawing, Drawing
One of the many things I have enjoyed doing with my kids at home over the last few months is learning how to draw different things. From Piggie and Gerald to unicorns and birds. Learning how to draw things step by step has been a lot of fun. So this week's library fun is just a whole lot of drawing opportunities. Enjoy!

Stuffie Hi-Jinx Blog
New last week is a Stuffie Hi-Jinx Blog! Mrs. Farrell brought the stuffies home from the library to stay with her family during this time. The stuffies have found many different ways to fill their school days without you around. Some are re-creating their stories while others are simply getting themselves into trouble.
Check out this blog weekly to find out what the stuffies get up to!
