The Name of This Book is Secret was my reading addition for last week. Geared for readers grades 3 and up, this story is sure to grab your attention right from the front title page. In this adventure story, two unlikely characters, Cass and Max-Ernest, join forces to solve the mystery of a magician's death. Along the way they encounter hidden rooms and villains who are trying to get something from them to name a few of their encounters. What I love best about this book, is how the author tries to not reveal all the truths while at the same time trying to recount the events of the story. This element just adds to the adventure and mystery that surrounds the plot of the story. If you've already read this or want to read more, make sure to check out the all 5 books in The Secret Series. |
